Abstracts are invited for ISBE 2020. If you wish to submit an abstract for consideration, you must also intend to register for the Congress. Online submission for an oral or poster presentation is the only method of receipt of abstracts.

Oral presentation: A standard oral presentation to be delivered in a themed session.

CALL FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
Abstract submission is a two-step process.
STEP 1: Creating an account and logging into the abstract submission portal
Click on the button below to access the abstract submission portal. To access the portal, we ask you to please set up an account to assist in the management and submission of your abstract/s for Congress.
Please select the ‘Create new account’ button and complete your preferred email address and password for your account log in details.
Once logged into the submission portal please click on the ‘Your contact information’ tab at the top of menu bar and complete your contact details.
Once you have created an account within the abstract submission portal you can upload abstracts, edit abstracts that are still in draft, and review terms and conditions at any time, by logging in.
STEP 2: Submitting your abstract
Abstracts must be submitted by the presenting author who should complete all fields. Click on the ‘Abstract submission’ tab and review the instructions.
Use the template to present your abstract in the required format. Abstracts not submitted using this template will be returned for correction.
Templates can be found above and in the abstract submission portal, please save the template to your desktop and complete it.
You will be required to provide the following details prior to uploading the abstract file:
- The abstract title
- Preferred presentation type
- Author names and affiliations
- Your completed abstract template
Please complete each step within the portal and then select the ‘Submit’ button to successfully submit your abstract. Please note this button will show only when all fields have been completed. You can also choose to ‘Save as draft’ at any time. You can view all your drafts and successfully submitted abstracts in the ‘Your submissions’ tab.
Should you wish to delete or edit an abstract that has been successfully submitted you will need to contact Fiona Geoghegan, Program Coordinator via email at email@example.com or phone on +61 3 9907 8641.
Once your abstract is submitted correctly, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email, your abstract has not been submitted. The abstract will be found under the ‘Your submissions’ tab and you will need to complete the missing information and submit it.

CONFIRMING YOUR SUBMISSIONS

CONGRESS SESSION NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE
Abstract review notification and allocation to the program will be communicated to the corresponding authors on Tuesday 12 May 2020.
Please note the details provided as the author contact should be for the nominated main contact for your abstract. All correspondence relating to the submission will be directed to this person and they should in turn distribute to all co-presenters.
Acceptance of this offer must be notified to Fiona Geoghegan, Program Coordinator via email at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Tuesday 26 May 2020.
ABSTRACT PRESENTER REGISTRATION
The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Congress. Similarly, no presenter fee is paid to successful participants.
All presenters must register for the Congress before Tuesday 26 May 2020 in order for the presentation to be included in the Congress program.

By submitting an abstract you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- I take full responsibility for the content of my submission and presentation.
- I understand that any case studies in the content of my submission and presentation should not identify any personal details.
- I understand that my submission, as displayed on the “Your Abstracts” page, reflects the data and material that is held in the Congress Office database. I acknowledge that I have checked this page for accuracy and I am satisfied with the information contained therein.
- I confirm that I have successfully viewed the PDF conversion of my submitted submission(s), including any submissions that I have replaced.
- I understand I should not use my presentation as means of selling my organisations’ products or services.
- I undertake to provide all required items to the Congress Office by the appropriate deadline.
- All documents, memoranda, notes and records relating to the Congress produced by either WALDRONSMITH Management, its agents, the staff or representatives of ISBE 2020 are and remain the property of ISBE 2020.
